Rittal kotelo SZ 2596.000, valkoinen polyetyleenikotelo, 25 m kaapeli

Rittal enclosure SZ 2596.000 is a white polyethylene housing supplied as a single unit with an integrated 25 m cable. The enclosure is designed to protect electrical components and cable entries in environments where a corrosion-resistant, lightweight and weather-tolerant material is required. Its polyethylene construction provides electrical insulation and resistance to many chemicals, making it suitable for outdoor installations and industrial locations where metal housings are not appropriate.

Advantages

The polyethylene housing offers impact resistance and corrosion-free performance while remaining lightweight for easier handling and installation. The integrated 25 m cable removes the need for immediate external cabling, simplifying setup and reducing installation time. The design provides protection for internal components against moisture and contaminants when installed correctly, and the smooth white surface facilitates identification and maintenance.

Key specifications

How to use

Place the enclosure on a stable surface or mount according to site requirements, ensuring the mounting method is compatible with polyethylene. Route the integrated cable through the intended entry point and connect conductors following applicable electrical codes and polarity. Seal any additional cable entries or screw fittings as required to maintain protection against moisture and contaminants. Verify connections and secure the enclosure lid or fasteners to achieve the intended environmental resistance.

Recommendations

Select installation locations that avoid prolonged exposure to direct UV without protective coatings, and ensure temperature and mechanical load remain within the material limits of polyethylene. For long-term outdoor use, periodically inspect seals and cable entries and replace or reseal as necessary to preserve protection of internal components.
