Kaapelisovitin RØDE SC6 3,5mm 3x 3,5mm musta

The RØDE SC6 is an input/output breakout box for smartphones and tablets that provides two TRRS microphone inputs and one stereo headphone output. It connects to any TRRS-equipped device and enables the use of one or two smartLav microphones while also allowing headphone monitoring and playback. The compact black adapter features a single 3.5 mm TRRS connector on one end and three 3.5 mm jacks on the other for flexible audio routing.

Advantages

The SC6 allows simultaneous connection of up to two smartLav microphones to a single TRRS device and provides a dedicated stereo headphone output for monitoring. Its small footprint and standard 3.5 mm connectors make it compatible with most smartphones and tablets that use a TRRS connection, while its lightweight, durable construction supports portable field recording and interviews.

Suitable for

• Mobile interviews and recordings with one or two lavalier microphones
• Podcasting or dual-dialogue capture on a smartphone or tablet
• On-the-go audio monitoring with headphones
• Field recording where compact, reliable connections are needed

How to use

Plug the SC6's 3.5 mm TRRS connector into the TRRS socket of your smartphone or tablet. Connect one or two smartLav microphones to the microphone inputs and plug headphones into the stereo headphone output for monitoring. When two microphones are connected, both mic inputs are summed to the same mono channel on the recording device. Ensure your recording app or device is set to accept external microphone input and monitor audio levels before recording.

Recommendations

Use compatible TRRS microphones such as the RØDE smartLav series and check device compatibility with TRRS wiring standards. When recording dialogue with two microphones, monitor levels carefully since both mics are recorded to the same mono channel.
