ROLINE 12021163 sarjakaapeli harmaa 1,8 m USB Type-A DB-9

The ROLINE 12021163 is a 1.8 m serial cable with a USB Type-A connector on one end and a DB-9 (RS-232) connector on the other. It provides a straightforward wired interface for connecting computers or hubs with USB Type-A ports to legacy serial devices that use a 9-pin D-sub connection. The cable’s grey colour and standard length make it suitable for office and home installations where a reliable serial link is required.

Advantages

The 1.8 m length balances reach and cable management for desktop and rack environments. The neutral grey jacket is easy to blend into professional workspaces.

Once recognised, use standard terminal or configuration software to communicate with the serial device.

Recommendations

For stable operation, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources. Verify driver compatibility with your operating system before deployment and route the cable to minimise trip hazards in shared workspaces.
