ROLINE USB-kaapeli 12.04.1066 USB 3.2 Gen 1 10 m USB C USB A musta

ROLINE USB Cable 12.04.1066 is an active 10 m USB extension cable with a USB‑C (male) to USB‑A (female) connection. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also referred to as USB 3.1 Gen 1) for data transfer rates up to 5 Gbit/s, and is designed to extend USB connections over longer distances while maintaining high-speed data throughput. The cable is black and weighs approximately 0.38 kg.

Advantages

The cable provides a long 10 m reach while supporting USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds (up to 5 Gbit/s), enabling high-speed data transfer between devices separated by greater distances. As an active extension (C male to A female), it helps preserve signal integrity over the extended length. The combination of USB‑C and USB‑A connectors offers compatibility with a wide range of host devices and peripherals.

Suitable for

• Extending connections between a computer and external drives, webcams or docking stations
• Connecting peripherals (printers, scanners, USB hubs) located away from the host
• Temporary or semi-permanent workstation setups requiring longer USB reach

How to use

Connect the USB‑C (male) end to a host device or active repeater output and plug the USB‑A (female) end to the peripheral or an A‑to‑A cable leading to the device. Ensure both connected devices support the required USB version for maximum throughput. Avoid sharp bends and keep the cable routed to prevent excessive stress on connectors. If using with devices that draw power from the host, verify power requirements as extension length can affect available power.

Recommendations

Use this active extension for data transfer applications where maintaining up to 5 Gbit/s over a 10 m distance is required; for power-hungry peripherals, consider using externally powered hubs or shorter connections if adequate bus power is not available.
