Verkkokaapeli Dätwyler 21.05.0522 keltainen 2 m Cat6a S/FTP

The Dätwyler 21.05.0522 Yellow 2m Cat6a S/FTP is a 2-meter network patch cable engineered for high-speed Ethernet connections. It conforms to the Cat6a performance class and uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, the cable supports enhanced data integrity and consistent signal transmission in structured cabling environments. The yellow jacket improves visibility and cable identification in racks, patch panels, and structured network installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to improve protection against crosstalk and external EMI. The Cat6a specification allows higher frequency operation compared with lower category cables, supporting greater throughput and more reliable performance for demanding network applications. The 2 meter length is suitable for connections between patch panels and switches or endpoints in typical rack and desk arrangements. A molded RJ-45 termination on each end ensures straightforward plug-and-play connectivity.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, patch panels and servers in data cabinets
• Workstation to wall outlet or desktop switch connections
• Office and small data center horizontal cabling runs
• Environments requiring visible cable identification and organization

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a (augmented Cat6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 2 meters
• Jacket color: Yellow
• Conductor: multi-pair twisted copper
• Suitable frequency range: up to 500 MHz (Cat6a specification)

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use the 2 m length to link equipment within the same rack or between a desk and a nearby network outlet. Avoid tightly bending the cable near the connectors and maintain manufacturer-recommended bend radii to preserve shielding and signal performance. For permanent installations, route the cable through cable management channels or cable ties without compressing the jacket.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable within structured cabling systems that maintain Category 6a performance end-to-end. Keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources such as large motors or fluorescent fixtures where possible, and verify connector seating after installation to ensure reliable links.
