Ruohonilmastointilaite Black & Decker GD300

The Black & Decker GD300 lawn scarifier is a compact garden tool with a 600 W motor designed to remove moss and thatch from small to medium-sized lawns. Weighing approximately 7 kg, it combines sufficient power with manoeuvrability to improve grass health and lawn appearance throughout the year. Its 30 cm working width and front-loading grass box make debris collection straightforward.

Advantages

The GD300 offers a powerful 600 W motor in a lightweight body for easy handling. A 30 cm raking width balances coverage and control for medium gardens, while three adjustable raking heights allow year-round maintenance. The front-loading grass box provides a large capacity for collection and disposal, and the central height adjustment system ensures quick and simple changes to working depth.

• Small to medium-sized lawns
• Removing moss and thatch

How to use

Before use, inspect the lawn and remove large debris such as stones and sticks. Adjust the central height control to the required raking depth (start shallow for first passes). Switch on the scarifier and move it evenly across the lawn at a steady pace, overlapping passes slightly to ensure full coverage. Periodically stop to empty the front-loading grass box when capacity is reached. After scarifying, collect remaining debris and consider overseeding or fertilising as needed.

Recommendations

For best results, scarify in dry conditions and avoid excessively wet or frozen soil. Use the shallowest setting for routine maintenance and deeper settings for heavy moss or thatch buildup. Wear appropriate protective equipment and follow the manufacturer's safety instructions.
