Ilmastointilaite DEDRA DED8704 2700 W 60 cm työsyvyys 22 cm

The DEDRA DED8704 lawn scarifier is a petrol-powered garden tool designed for aerating and rejuvenating turf across medium to large lawns. Equipped with a 2700 W engine and a 60 cm working width, it penetrates compacted soil to remove thatch and moss while promoting water and nutrient penetration. The unit operates up to 3000 RPM and offers a maximum working depth of 22 cm for intensive scarifying tasks, delivering steady power and coverage for efficient lawn maintenance.

Advantages

The DEDRA DED8704 combines a high-power 2700 W petrol engine with a wide 60 cm working width to cover larger areas faster than smaller manual or electric scarifiers. Its robust construction and higher RPM capability provide consistent cutting and penetration through dense thatch layers. The adjustable working depth up to 22 cm allows customization of treatment intensity, and the petrol drive ensures cordless operation and greater mobility across bigger lawns and uneven terrain.

How to use

Before starting, inspect the lawn and remove stones, branches, and other debris. Adjust the scarifier to a shallow setting for initial passes to assess turf condition, then increase the depth gradually up to the required level, not exceeding recommended soil tolerance. Start the engine according to the manufacturer's starting procedure, engage the cutting mechanism, and move the scarifier at a steady pace across the lawn in overlapping passes to ensure even coverage. After scarifying, collect loosened thatch and debris and follow up with raking, overseeding, or fertilizing as needed.

Recommendations

Use the DEDRA DED8704 during spring or autumn when soil is moist but not waterlogged. Avoid working on frozen ground or during heavy rain. For best results, scarify in two shorter passes at different angles when thatch buildup is significant, and always perform routine engine checks, fuel safety handling, and blade maintenance to maintain performance and longevity.
