Verkkokaapeli S/CONN Cat6a 0,25 m punainen S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat6a 0.25m Red S/FTP is a short patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in modern Ethernet networks. It uses the Cat6a standard and S/FTP shielding to maintain signal integrity, and comes terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The 0.25 metre length and red jacket make it suitable for compact connections and easy identification within dense cabling environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines an overall braid with individual foil shielding for each pair to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Cat6a specification supports higher bandwidth and improved performance compared with earlier categories, enabling reliable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit connections over short distances. Compact 0.25 m length reduces excess cable clutter and the red outer jacket provides visual distinction for easier cable management.

Suitable for

• Short patching between network switches, routers and patch panels
• High-density rack or cabinet environments where space is limited
• Connections requiring reduced interference and stable data rates
• Color-coded cabling schemes for quick identification and maintenance

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Color: Red
• Intended use: Ethernet data transmission up to Cat6a performance levels

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port on your devices such as switches, routers, patch panels or network interface cards. Ensure connectors are fully seated and that the cable is not excessively bent near the termination points to preserve shielding and signal quality. Use the short 0.25 m length for close-proximity connections to avoid cable slack and to maintain tidy installations.

Recommendations

For best results, route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and avoid tight bends or kinks. Use the red color for consistent color-coding in racks and panels to simplify troubleshooting and maintenance. Verify compatibility with your networking equipment and, where necessary, test link speed and performance after installation to confirm expected Cat6a throughput.
