Verkkokaapeli Cat 6 S/CONN 75720-S 10 m

The Networking Cable Cat 6 S/CONN 75720-S 10m by ShiverPeaks is a 10-metre Cat 6 patch cable designed for wired network connections. It features U/UTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts, supporting Gigabit Ethernet speeds and offering a stable physical link between routers, switches, computers and other network devices. The cable construction focuses on preserving signal integrity and reducing crosstalk for consistent data transmission.

Advantages

This Cat 6 cable provides high-speed data transmission suitable for Gigabit networks, with U/UTP shielding to limit interference and maintain reliable throughput. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure better corrosion resistance and stable contact quality. The 10 m length allows flexible placement of equipment while keeping a single continuous cable run, and the Cat 6 specification delivers improved performance compared with lower category cables.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, servers and network switches in home or office environments
• Wired connections for Smart TVs, gaming consoles and media players
• Point-to-point links between routers, access points and networked devices
• Temporary or permanent cabling runs where a 10 m reach is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6
• Length: 10 metres
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded twisted pair with individual pair configuration)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts for corrosion resistance
• Supported speeds: Up to Gigabit Ethernet
• Use environment: Indoor networking

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your router, switch or modem and the other plug to the Ethernet port of the target device such as a computer, NAS or media player. Ensure both connectors are fully inserted until the locking clip engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain signal quality. If needed, use cable clips or ties to secure the run and prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tightly coiling the cable and maintain bend radii greater than the cable diameter. Keep the cable separated from mains power lines and high-current devices to reduce potential interference. For installations beyond 10 metres or for higher shielding requirements, consider using higher-category or shielded cabling solutions appropriate to the environment.
