S-Video-kaapeli Omnitronic 30209952, 3 m

S-Video cable Omnitronic 30209952, 3 m length is a 3‑metre analog video interconnect designed to carry standard‑definition S‑Video signals between devices fitted with S‑Video sockets. The cable separates luminance (Y) and chrominance (C) signals to maintain clearer colour reproduction and sharper detail compared with composite connections, making it suitable for connecting DVD players, VCRs, legacy game consoles and other video equipment in home AV setups or studio test rigs.

Advantages

The Omnitronic S‑Video cable offers reliable analog signal transmission over a 3 m reach with attention to preserving picture quality through separate Y/C conductors. The construction reduces colour bleeding and cross‑talk typical for single‑channel composite cables, while the standardized 4‑pin S‑Video connector ensures simple plug‑and‑play compatibility with a wide range of legacy devices. Its length provides flexibility for typical domestic and small studio installations without excess cable bulk.

How to use

To use the Omnitronic S‑Video cable, insert one 4‑pin connector into the S‑Video output of the source device and the other into the S‑Video input of the display or capture device, ensuring pins are correctly aligned before seating the plug. Select the appropriate input on the display or capture software, and adjust display settings if necessary to match the standard‑definition signal. For best results, avoid sharp bends and keep the cable away from high‑power mains cables and strong RF sources.

Recommendations

Use this S‑Video cable for connections where separate luminance and chrominance are required to reduce colour artefacts compared with composite video. If your devices support higher‑resolution or digital interfaces (HDMI, component), prefer those for improved image quality; use the Omnitronic S‑Video cable when connecting legacy equipment that only provides S‑Video outputs or inputs.
