Sähkökotelo Rittal 1013.000 ruostumaton teräs IP66, 500×300×500 mm

Rittal 1013.000 is a stainless steel electrical enclosure with IP66 protection, sized 500 × 300 × 500 mm (W×D×H). Engineered for indoor and outdoor installations that require dust-tight sealing and protection against powerful water jets, this enclosure is suitable for housing control equipment, terminal blocks and instrumentation in industrial, marine and food-processing environments. The enclosure includes an integral locator system that enables fast, easy and reliable system configuration without the need for drilling.

Advantages

The stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance and mechanical strength for demanding environments while maintaining hygienic surfaces where required. IP66 protection ensures ingress resistance against dust and strong water jets, enabling use in washdown or exposed outdoor locations. The integral locator system simplifies assembly of internal components and accessories, reducing installation time and minimizing modification on site. Compact external dimensions offer a balance between internal usable space and installation footprint.

How to use

Install the enclosure on a stable surface or mounting plate according to local electrical and building codes. Open the door and place internal mounting plates, DIN rails or terminal blocks using the integral locator system to position components without drilling. Route cables through appropriate gland plates or pre-cut openings, and fit cable glands or conduit entries rated for IP66 to maintain enclosure protection. Fasten components securely and verify door gasket compression to ensure continued ingress protection before energizing equipment.

Recommendations

For best performance, select stainless steel-compatible mounting hardware and corrosion-resistant cable glands. Verify gasket condition periodically and inspect seals after any maintenance. When used in washdown or marine environments, rinse with fresh water and avoid harsh chemical cleaners that could degrade seal materials or finish.
