Sähkökotelo Rittal 9511.000, polyamidi/polykarbonaatti IP66, 130×130×99 mm

Rittal 9511.000 is a compact electrical enclosure made from fibre-glass reinforced polycarbonate housing and a cover available in either grey or transparent polycarbonate. With external dimensions of 130 × 130 × 99 mm and an IP66 rating, the enclosure is dust-tight and provides protection against strong water jets, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor mounting where components require reliable sealing and visibility of internal indicators.

Advantages

The enclosure combines robust polyamide and polycarbonate materials that resist impact and UV exposure. Its IP66 protection class ensures effective sealing against dust and heavy splashing or jets of water. The option of a transparent cover allows visual inspection of status LEDs or displays without removing the cover, while the grey cover provides a more discreet, solid appearance. Compact dimensions make it easy to integrate into control cabinets, junction points, or wall-mounted installations.

How to use

Place the enclosure on the chosen mounting surface and secure it using appropriate fasteners through the provided mounting points. Install electronic components, terminal blocks or sensor modules inside using the internal fixing options; ensure components are positioned to maintain clearance from the cover and allow cable entry. Route cables through suitable gland entries or conduit fittings compatible with the enclosure to preserve the IP66 rating. When using a transparent cover, verify that visible indicators align with the cover window for inspection without opening.

Recommendations

For reliable sealing, use cable glands and conduit fittings rated for IP66 and tighten cover fastenings to the manufacturer's recommended torque. Avoid exposing the enclosure to aggressive chemicals or solvents that can degrade polycarbonate over time. For outdoor installations, consider placement to minimize prolonged direct sun exposure if maximum long-term color stability is required.
