Sähkökotelo Rittal 9520.000 — polyamidi/PC, IP66, 254×90×180 mm

Rittal 9520.000 is a compact electrical enclosure made of fibre-glass reinforced polycarbonate and polyamide, offering IP66 protection for indoor and outdoor installations. With external dimensions of 254×90×180 mm, this junction box is designed to house electrical and electronic components, control units or terminal blocks where robust protection against dust and powerful water jets is required. The enclosure is available with either a grey or a transparent cover, allowing visual inspection of internal components without opening the box when a transparent option is chosen.

Advantages

The enclosure combines impact-resistant polycarbonate with durable polyamide construction for mechanical strength and long-term stability. An IP66 rating ensures reliable protection against dust ingress and heavy water exposure, suitable for harsh environments. The compact footprint and standardized mounting area simplify installation in control cabinets, on walls or machinery. The choice of a transparent cover enables visual checks and status monitoring without compromising the enclosure seal.

How to use

Mount the enclosure on a stable surface or within a control cabinet using appropriate fixings that match the application and load. Route cable entries through compatible gland plates or cable glands to maintain the IP66 rating, and position internal components on the provided mounting area or compatible subplates. Ensure sealing surfaces are clean and that the cover is tightened according to manufacturer torque recommendations to preserve the enclosure’s protection level. For installations with a transparent cover, avoid abrasive cleaning agents that could scratch the viewing surface.

Recommendations

Select cable glands and mounting hardware that are rated for IP66 to ensure the enclosure maintains its protection. When used outdoors, avoid prolonged exposure to direct ultraviolet radiation where possible; periodic inspection of seals and cover fastenings helps preserve long-term performance. For applications requiring EMC compliance, consider additional internal screens or filtered gland solutions.
