SAS-kaapeli BlueOptics BLIS4343-100CM 1 m 12 Gbit/s SFF-8643

The BlueOptics BLIS4343-100CM is a 1 m Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) cable with SFF-8643 connectors designed for internal storage and server environments. It supports data transfer rates up to 12 Gbit/s and is intended for direct point-to-point connections between host adapters, RAID controllers and SAS storage devices. The cable meets CE, FCC and RoHS standards, indicating compliance with common safety, electromagnetic and hazardous-material regulations.

Advantages

This 1 metre SAS cable provides a compact, low-latency connection suitable for high-throughput storage systems. SFF-8643 terminations ensure compatibility with contemporary SAS controllers and enclosures, while the specified 12 Gbit/s signaling supports current-generation SAS performance. Compliance with CE, FCC and RoHS helps simplify integration into regulated IT environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting SAS host adapters to SAS backplanes or storage enclosures
• Linking RAID controllers to SAS hard drives or SSDs in servers
• Internal cable runs in rack-mounted storage arrays and NAS systems

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFF-8643 to SFF-8643
• Length: 1 metre
• Maximum data rate: 12 Gbit/s
• Application: Internal SAS storage connections
• Standards compliance: CE, FCC, RoHS

How to use

Install the cable by aligning each SFF-8643 connector with the corresponding port on the host adapter, controller or storage device and push until the connector seats securely. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain manufacturer-recommended bend radius to preserve signal integrity. Verify link status in the system firmware or operating system storage management tools after connection to confirm proper negotiation at the expected speed.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the cable for internal connections only and avoid exposing it to liquids, excessive heat or mechanical stress. Keep cable length appropriate for the planned cable management to reduce signal loss and ensure good airflow within racks. When replacing or upgrading storage controllers, confirm port compatibility with SFF-8643 connectors and 12 Gbit/s signaling.
