SATA-kaapeli DeLOCK 0,5 m 82854

The DeLOCK SATA Cable 0.5 m (model 82854) is a brown internal SATA III extension cable with a male-to-female 7‑pin connection. It complies with the SATA III standard and is compatible with earlier SATA versions, allowing connection and extension of devices that use a 7‑pin SATA interface while maintaining a compact cable length for tidy PC interiors.

Advantages

This SATA cable supports data transfer rates up to 6 Gb/s in accordance with the SATA III specification and is backwards compatible with previous SATA standards. The 0.5 m length provides flexibility for compact setups and helps keep internal cabling neat. The male/female connector configuration enables simple extension or repositioning of SATA devices without replacing existing cables.

Suitable for

• Connecting internal SATA devices (HDD, SSD, optical drives) inside desktop PCs
• Extending an existing SATA connection when the original cable is too short
• Small or compact PC builds where a short, tidy cable is preferred

How to use

Power off the computer and disconnect it from the mains before installing the cable. Plug the male 7‑pin SATA connector into the SATA port on the motherboard or host device and connect the female 7‑pin end to the SATA device (HDD, SSD or optical drive). Ensure connectors are aligned with the keyed notch and fit securely. After installation, reconnect power and boot the system to verify the device is recognised.

Recommendations

Use this cable inside a desktop computer or compatible enclosure only; avoid bending the cable sharply and keep it away from heat sources. For maximum performance, use with devices and controllers that support SATA III; if connected to older SATA ports, data transfer speed will be limited to the older interface's maximum.
