SATA-kaapeli DeLOCK 1 m SATA III 83837

The DeLOCK SATA Cable 1m (SATA III, model 83837) is an ultra-flexible internal SATA data cable with 7-pin SATA connectors on both ends and a length of 1 meter. It is designed for use in confined chassis spaces where bending and routing flexibility are required. The cable supports SATA data transfer rates up to 6 Gb/s and is backwards compatible with earlier SATA versions. The cable is finished in red and supplied in a polybag.

Advantages

The flexible construction allows the cable to be bent, kinked or routed in tight spaces without the need for angled connectors, while short connector housings increase fitment options. Metal locking clips ensure secure connection retention and the material composition provides increased durability against breakage and material fatigue. The cable supports high-speed SATA III transfer rates up to 6 Gb/s and remains compatible with previous SATA generations.

Suitable for

• Connecting 2.5" and 3.5" hard drives
• Connecting SATA SSDs
• Connecting internal optical drives
• Routing in compact or crowded computer chassis

How to use

Align the 7-pin SATA connector with the corresponding receptacle on the drive or motherboard, then push the connector until the metal clip engages and provides an audible click. Route the cable through the chassis using the flexible body to avoid stress on connectors and components. To disconnect, press the metal clip to release the latch and pull the connector straight out. Ensure the system is powered down before connecting or disconnecting internal SATA cables.

Recommendations

For optimal airflow and cable management, use the cable’s flexibility to route it along drive bays or behind the motherboard tray; avoid sharp edges and excessive torsion that could wear the insulation over time.
