SATA-kaapeli DeLOCK 83970 0,7 m SATA 7-napainen musta punainen

This SATA cable by Delock enables the internal connection of various SATA devices such as HDDs, controller cards or flash memories. It follows the latest SATA standard and supports data transfer rates up to 6 Gb/s while remaining backwards compatible with earlier SATA versions at their respective speeds. The cable is 0.7 m long and comes in a black and red design with two SATA 7-pin connectors; when connected to a HDD the cable is routed to the right. Metal clips on the connectors ensure a secure, audible click when plugged in.

Advantages

The DeLOCK 83970 provides reliable data transfer up to 6 Gb/s and backward compatibility with previous SATA standards. Its 0.7 m length suits internal routing within most PC cases, and the metal retention clips offer a secure connection. The black and red colour scheme allows easy visual identification in system builds.

Suitable for

• Internal connection of 2.5" and 3.5" HDDs
• Connecting SATA-based controller cards
• Linking SATA flash memory modules
• General internal storage cabling in desktop PCs

How to use

Align each SATA 7-pin connector with the corresponding SATA port on the device or motherboard and push until the metal clip clicks into place. Ensure the connector orientation is correct so the cable routes to the right when attached to a hard drive as intended. To remove, depress the metal clip and pull the connector straight out. Avoid excessive bending or twisting of the cable to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this cable for internal SATA III devices to attain up to 6 Gb/s; if used with older SATA devices the transfer rate will be limited to the device’s supported SATA version. Keep the cable clear of fans and heating components to prevent wear from vibration and heat.
