The Satechi ST-P6SS USB Type-C Hub in Silver expands a single USB-C port into six ports to increase connectivity for laptops and compatible devices. It integrates a 4K HDMI output, USB-C Power Delivery pass-through, Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45), and multiple USB-A ports, offering a compact solution for connecting external displays, wired networks, and peripherals while maintaining a slim aluminum profile.

Advantages

The adapter supports 4K@60Hz HDMI output for high-resolution video, USB-C PD charging to power laptops while using the hub, and Gigabit Ethernet for stable wired internet. Multiple USB-A ports provide high-speed data transfer for external drives and accessories, and the slim silver aluminum design makes the hub portable and durable.

If you need to charge the host device while using the hub, connect a USB-C PD charger to the hub’s USB-C PD port.

Recommendations

For optimal video output, use high-quality HDMI cables and ensure the host device supports 4K@60Hz over USB-C. When transferring large files, connect drives to the USB 3.2 Gen 2 port for faster speeds. Use a stable USB-C PD charger that matches your laptop’s power requirements to maintain charging while operating multiple peripherals.
