Satelliittiantenni Schwaiger SPI996

The SCHWAIGER Satellite Antenna Schwaiger SPI996 is an offset satellite dish designed for reception of free-to-air and encrypted TV and radio channels. It operates in the 10.7–12.75 GHz frequency range and offers a high gain of 38.5 dBi. The antenna combines aluminum, plastic and steel construction for weather resistance and mechanical stability, and its 75 cm diameter (745 × 845 mm overall) makes it suitable for residential installations. The model is identified by MPN SPI996.2 and EAN 4004005009927.

Advantages

The antenna provides strong signal gain (38.5 dBi) across the standard Ku-band range (10.7–12.75 GHz), which improves reception quality for a wide range of satellite services. Its mixed-material construction—aluminum for the reflector, plastic components for mounting and covers, and steel elements for strength—ensures durability and reliable performance in outdoor conditions. The 75 cm dish size balances compact installation with adequate reception capability.

Suitable for

• Home satellite TV and radio reception (FTS and encrypted services)
• Single-dwelling installations on balconies, rooftops or façades
• Areas requiring a compact dish with good gain for mid-power transponders

How to use

Mount the offset antenna on a stable bracket or mast with a clear line of sight to the target satellite. Assemble and fasten all hardware according to the included instructions, ensuring the reflector and LNB mount are securely fixed. Connect the LNB and coaxial cable to your satellite receiver or digital tuner, then perform satellite alignment by adjusting azimuth and elevation until the receiver reports optimal signal strength and quality. Tighten mounting hardware once alignment is confirmed.

Recommendations

Position the dish where it has an unobstructed view of the southern sky (or the satellite orbital position relevant for your region). Use a compass or satellite-finder tool to refine alignment. Seal cable connections and use weatherproof boots where needed to reduce moisture ingress. For installations in exposed or high-wind locations, ensure the mounting mast and fixings are rated for local conditions.
