Satelliittien multiswitch Triax 318602 5 tuloa 8 lähtöä

The Triax 318602 satellite multiswitch is a standalone 5-input, 8-output device designed to distribute satellite and terrestrial signals in small and medium-sized systems. It supports one satellite position and accepts Quad and Quattro LNB configurations. With a compact form factor (140 mm × 65 mm × 250 mm) and a weight of 0.735 kg, the multiswitch suits installations in confined spaces while handling input frequencies from 950 to 2200 MHz and mains voltage of 180–264 V.

Advantages

The unit provides low insertion loss and high isolation to maintain signal quality across eight outputs, while low power consumption and ESD protection improve operational reliability. It is RED compliant and comes with a 6-year warranty, reflecting Triax’s focus on reliability and innovation. Installer-friendly features include equidistant F-connectors, colour-coded input labels, and an LED power indicator for quick status checks.

Suitable for

• Small and medium-sized multi-dwelling or commercial satellite installations
• Distributing signals from one satellite position to up to eight receivers
• Systems using Quad or Quattro LNBs and combined terrestrial/satellite distribution

How to use

Mount the multiswitch in a suitable enclosure or on a secure surface, ensuring access to mains power (180–264 V). Connect satellite and terrestrial inputs according to the colour-coded labels and attach up to eight receiver outputs using F-type connectors. Verify that the LNB configuration (Quad or Quattro) matches the system wiring. Power the unit and check the LED indicator to confirm operation. Perform signal level checks at each receiver and adjust cable routing or amplification as required by the installation.

Recommendations

Install the multiswitch indoors or in a weather-protected cabinet to preserve ESD protection and product lifespan. Use quality coaxial cables and keep cable runs as short as practical to minimise insertion loss; when extending long runs, consider inline amplifiers or passive balancing per system requirements.
