SAVIO DisplayPort–VGA (D-Sub) -kaapeli 1,8 m, musta

SAVIO DisplayPort to VGA (D-Sub) cable 1.8 m, black converts a DisplayPort video output to an analog VGA input, enabling connection of modern computers or laptops to older monitors, projectors and displays. The cable supports unidirectional video transfer from DisplayPort to VGA, provides automatic monitor identification via EDID and draws power from the DisplayPort source, so no external power supply is required. With a 1.8 m length and lightweight construction, it is intended for desktop, meeting room and portable setups that require legacy display compatibility.

Advantages

The cable supports high resolutions up to 1920×1200 (WUXGA-R) and Full HD 1920×1080 at 60 Hz, ensuring clear, stable images for presentations and everyday work. Its 30 AWG conductors and 5.5 mm outer diameter provide a balance of flexibility and signal integrity while the one-piece design and standard connectors make installation quick and straightforward. EDID communication optimizes output settings automatically, and the DP-supplied power removes the need for additional adapters.

How to use

Connect the DisplayPort male connector to the DisplayPort output on your computer or laptop and plug the VGA (D-Sub) male connector into the VGA input of the monitor or projector. Ensure both devices are powered on; the cable will draw necessary power from the DisplayPort output and establish EDID communication to set the optimal resolution automatically. Use the host device's display settings if you need to adjust scaling, orientation or choose between mirrored and extended desktop modes.

Recommendations

For best image quality, set the source device to output at a supported resolution (up to 1920×1200 at 60 Hz). Avoid excessive bending or tight knots near the connectors and keep the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources to minimize interference. This cable is designed for DP → VGA conversion only and will not transmit audio or work in the reverse direction.
