SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC MULTIFIX ONTELORASIA 1M 12-27 MM 2 KIINTEÄÄ LIITINTÄ

Installing switches and sockets into hollow walls often means struggling with flimsy boxes that shift, crack, or fail to grip the plasterboard. The Schneider Electric Multifix cavity wall box solves this by providing a rock-solid, adjustable mounting platform that locks securely into walls from 12 to 27 mm thick. Its two rigid stubs offer clean, protected cable entry, while the halogen-free polypropylene body meets strict safety standards for modern electrical installations.

Who is it for

Electricians and professional installers who need a dependable, code-compliant solution for mounting wiring accessories in drywall, hollow brick, or cavity walls. It is equally suited for renovation projects where existing wall thickness varies and for new builds where speed and reliability are essential.

Tips

Before cutting the hole, always check the exact wall thickness to ensure it falls within the 12–27 mm range. For a clean finish, use a hole saw slightly larger than the box diameter and deburr the edges. When routing cables through the rigid stubs, strip only the necessary outer sheath to maintain strain relief. For multiple boxes side by side, use the manufacturer's coupling pieces to maintain consistent spacing and alignment.
