SECOMP STANDARD USB 2.0 -aktiivinen jatkokaapeli toistimella, musta, 15 m (S3116)

In a busy office, a technician needs to place a USB webcam at the far end of a conference table—15 meters away from the computer. Why choose it

Standard passive USB cables are limited to about 5 meters before signal degradation. This active cable integrates a repeater that amplifies and reshapes the signal, ensuring reliable data transfer even at 15 meters. The double shielding reduces electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for environments with multiple electronic devices. Its bus-powered design means no extra power bricks or outlets are needed—just plug and play.

Ideal use cases

• Extending USB peripherals in conference rooms: webcams, speakerphones, or presentation clickers
• Connecting printers or scanners in offices where the computer is far away
• Setting up temporary workstations or kiosks with USB devices at a distance
• Industrial or lab settings where equipment must be placed away from the host PC
• Home setups for cameras, storage drives, or input devices across a room

Good to know

The cable is black and features a durable PVC jacket. It supports cascading up to three segments, allowing a maximum total length of 45 meters. Since it is backward compatible with USB 1.1, it works with older devices as well. No software or drivers are required; simply connect the male end to your computer and the female end to your device or another cable.
