USB 3.0 A-A-kaapeli helos 5,0 m – musta

helos USB 3.0 A-to-A cable, 5.0 m long in black. This straight USB Type-A male to Type-A male cable supports USB 3.0 transfer rates up to 5000 Mbit/s and is backward compatible with earlier USB standards. It features gold-plated contacts, combined braid-and-foil shielding and a molded hood for improved durability. The cable is RoHS 2.0 and REACH compliant and is intended for connecting devices with USB-A ports where a longer, reliable data link is required.

Advantages

The helos USB 3.0 A-to-A cable provides high-speed data transfer up to 5000 Mbit/s and backward compatibility with USB 2.0/1.x devices. Gold-plated contacts enhance signal quality and resist corrosion. Combined braid-and-foil shielding reduces electromagnetic interference, while the molded hood increases mechanical robustness for frequent handling. The 5.0 m length offers extended reach for home, office, or studio setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting external hard drives and SSD enclosures with USB-A ports
• Linking peripherals (e.g., USB hubs, docking stations) that use USB-A connections
• Temporary direct connections between two devices with USB-A ports for data transfer
• Setups requiring a longer, durable USB-A cable in home, office, or studio environments

How to use

Connect one USB Type-A male plug to the USB-A port of the source device (for example a computer, docking station or hub) and the other plug to the target device (for example an external drive enclosure or peripheral). Ensure both devices support the intended data transfer direction and that ports are compatible. Avoid forcing connectors; insert plugs straight and secure. For best performance, use direct connections and avoid routing near strong electromagnetic sources.

Recommendations

For highest reliable throughput, use with USB 3.0-compatible hosts and devices. When transporting or storing the cable, avoid sharp bends and excessive twisting; coil gently to maintain shielding integrity. If you need permanent installation in-wall or in-ceiling, consult local building and safety codes since the cable is not rated for in-wall installation.
