Seinäasennettava 19" rack ROLINE Pro 12U, 600x450 mm, musta, avainlukko, IP20

The ROLINE Pro 12U wall-mounted 19-inch rack offers a compact, secure housing for network equipment with internal dimensions of 600×450 mm. Constructed from up to 1.5 mm thick steel with a black powder-coated finish, the enclosure includes adjustable 19" mounting rails (483 mm usable height) and a keyed front lock. Cable entry is provided by a slide-on inlet in the roof with a foam seal and punched cable inlets in the rear panel and base. The roof also includes a knockout area for an optional fan module. Side panels and the front door are removable, lockable and modular to ease access. The cabinet can be mounted on the wall via the rear panel or made free-standing using optional levelling feet or castors. Rated IP20 for basic protection, it is suitable for offices, server rooms and telecom closets where a space-saving, secure rack is required.

Advantages

The cabinet’s steel construction and powder coating provide a durable, dust-resistant housing while the keyed lock and removable panels improve physical security and maintenance access. Adjustable depth and standard 19" rails allow flexible mounting of switches, patch panels and compact servers. Built-in cable inlets and a fan knockout simplify installation and airflow management.

Suitable for

• Mounting network switches and patch panels in offices or telecom closets
• Housing small rack-mount servers or UPS units with limited depth
• Deployments requiring a compact, wall-mounted 12U rack

When it may not be suitable

This 12U unit provides limited internal depth (600×450 mm) and is intended for light to medium network equipment; it may not fit larger servers, deep PDUs or extensive cable bundles. Also, the IP20 rating means it is not suited for dusty or wet industrial environments where higher ingress protection is required.

How to use

Secure the rear panel to a suitable wall structure using appropriate fasteners, then attach the cabinet housing to the mounted rear panel. Adjust the 19" mounting rails to the required depth for installed equipment and lock the front door after placing devices. Route cables through the roof inlet or rear/base punched inlets and use the fan knockout if additional ventilation is needed. For a freestanding setup, fit optional levelling feet or castors according to the supplied instructions.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify internal depth (600 mm width × 450 mm depth) against the depth of planned equipment
• Confirm 12U height is sufficient for all rack devices and accessories
• Check that wall structure and fixings can support the loaded cabinet weight
• Ensure IP20 protection level meets the environmental requirements of the installation site

Recommendations

Install network switches and patch panels with cable access planned through the roof inlet; space equipment to allow airflow and, if necessary, add a fan module at the roof knockout. Regularly lock the front door and secure side panels to maintain physical security.
