Seinäkiinnitteinen kaappi DIGITUS Dynamic-N 12U, 600x450 mm (LxS), IP20, avainlukko, kokoamaton

The DIGITUS Dynamic-N wall-mounted rack cabinet is a 12U, 19" enclosure with external dimensions of 600 x 450 mm (WxD) and a usable height of 607 mm. Constructed from robust 1.0–1.2 mm sheet steel with a powder-coated black finish, the cabinet supports up to 60 kg of equipment and meets IP20 protection. It includes adjustable, galvanized 483 mm (19") profile rails at the front and rear, ventilation slots, pre-punched cable entry points and a lockable safety glass door in a steel frame. The product is delivered unassembled to reduce transport volume and is intended for mounting on walls in offices, server rooms and wiring closets.

Advantages

The Dynamic-N cabinet offers a compact, stable housing for standard 19" network and telecom devices while keeping a small footprint. Adjustable depth rails and marked height units simplify mounting and alignment of equipment. Removable side panels and front/back doors provide easy access for installation and maintenance, while pre-punched cable inlets and ventilation slots facilitate tidy cable routing and airflow management. The key lock on the front door provides basic physical security for installed devices.

Suitable for

• Wall-mounted installation of 19" network switches, patch panels and small servers
• Server rooms, telecommunications closets and office network points
• Environments requiring basic dust protection (IP20) and cable organisation
• Sites where compact, flat-packed delivery and on-site assembly are preferred

When it may not be suitable

This cabinet is not intended for outdoor use or locations requiring higher ingress protection than IP20; it provides basic protection against solid objects but not against water. The 60 kg maximum load and 12U height limit its use to small to medium-density installations—larger racks or heavy equipment should be placed in floor-standing cabinets with higher load ratings and greater depth.

How to use

Assemble the cabinet following the supplied instructions: fix the mounting plate to a suitable load-bearing wall with appropriate anchors, then attach the cabinet housing to the plate. Install and position the front and rear 19" profile rails to match the depth required for your equipment, using the marked height units to align U positions. Route cables through the pre-punched openings at the roof, rear or base and secure with cable management accessories. Fit devices into the rails using standard 19" mounting hardware, observe the 60 kg total load limit, and ensure earthing connections are made. If required, fit a fan module into the roof area and verify airflow through ventilation slots.

What to consider before purchase

• Measure depth and height requirements of the equipment to confirm compatibility with the cabinet's 12U and depth-adjustable rails
• Check total equipment weight to remain within the 60 kg maximum load
• Verify IP20 protection is appropriate for the intended environment (not suitable for outdoor or wet locations)
• Plan cable entry points (rear, top, base) and any additional cable management or fan modules you may need
• Ensure wall mounting surface and fixings can support the loaded cabinet weight

Recommendations

For stable installation, use appropriate wall anchors for the building material and distribute equipment weight evenly across the rails. Consider adding a small extraction fan if you plan to install active devices that generate heat, and use the removable panels for straightforward maintenance and cable re-routing.
