Seinäproppu Fischer 77870

The fischer universal fixing UX is a nylon wall plug designed to secure fixtures in a wide range of base materials. Made from high-quality nylon, the plug expands in solid substrates and knots in hollow materials to provide reliable anchoring. Its edge prevents slippage during installation, and the universal operating principle makes it suitable even when the exact base material is unknown.

Advantages

The UX combines two anchoring mechanisms—expansion in solid materials and knotting in hollow materials—so a single plug can be used across solid, hollow and board building materials. Angled connection ribs guide the screw for optimal insertion while serrated anti-rotation locks prevent turning in the drill hole, increasing installation safety.

Suitable for

• Autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC)
• Brick and solid masonry
• Plasterboard and hollow blocks
• Board materials and mixed unknown substrates

Key specifications

• Brand: FISCHER
• Model / MPN: 77870
• EAN: 4006209778708
• Type: Universal nylon wall plug (UX)
• Diameter: 8 mm
• Length: 50 mm
• Contents: 100 pieces per box

How to use

Drill a hole with an 8 mm drill bit to the depth required for the 50 mm plug. Clean the hole of dust, insert the fischer UX plug flush with the surface, and drive the appropriate screw into the plug. The plug will expand in solid substrates or form a knot in hollow substrates to secure the screw.

Recommendations

Choose a screw length that allows sufficient engagement in the plug while accounting for the thickness of the fixture. Use an 8 mm drill bit and match the screw type to the material and load requirements. For heavy loads or critical fixings consult relevant load tables or manufacturer guidance.
