ShiverPeaks BASIC-S DisplayPort-kaapeli 10 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S 10m DisplayPort cable provides a reliable wired connection for transmitting high-resolution video and multi-channel audio between compatible devices. With a 10 meter length and standardized DisplayPort connectors, the cable is intended to bridge distances in home, office, or studio environments while supporting signals up to 4K resolution. The construction focuses on consistent signal integrity over longer runs and durable mechanical design to withstand regular handling and installation.

Advantages

This DisplayPort cable combines extended reach with support for high-definition video and audio, allowing flexible placement of monitors and source devices. The cable’s shielding and connector quality are designed to minimize signal degradation and electromagnetic interference over the 10 m length. Its durable outer jacket and strain-relief at the connectors contribute to longer service life and stable mechanical performance during repeated plugging and routing.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs to monitors positioned at a distance in home or office setups
• Multi-monitor workstations and professional editing suites requiring 4K output
• Gaming systems where a long cable run is necessary between PC and display
• Presentations and conference rooms that need reliable wired video links

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 meters
• Connector type: DisplayPort male to DisplayPort male
• Maximum supported resolution: up to 4K (dependent on source and display capabilities)
• Audio support: multi-channel audio pass-through
• Cable construction: shielded conductor design with strain relief
• Intended use: indoor video and audio transmission over extended distance

How to use

Ensure both source and display have DisplayPort ports. Power off devices or set them to standby before connecting to avoid hot-plug issues if recommended by the device manufacturer. Insert each DisplayPort connector firmly into the corresponding port until the latch engages. After connection, power on the devices and configure display settings on the source system to the desired resolution and refresh rate. For optimal performance, select resolutions and refresh rates that are within the capabilities of both the source GPU and the monitor.

Recommendations

Route the cable away from large power cables and strong electromagnetic sources to reduce interference. Avoid sharp bends and excessive twisting; maintain gentle curves with a bend radius appropriate for the cable thickness. If using 4K at higher refresh rates, verify that both source and display support the chosen mode and use the appropriate display settings or drivers.
