ShiverPeaks BS57001 johdinliitin 6,3 mm 3,5 mm musta ruostumaton teräs

The ShiverPeaks BS57001 Wire Connector 6.3mm 3.5mm Black Stainless Steel is a dual-size male/female connector designed for reliable electrical connections in audio, video and general wiring projects. Constructed from black stainless steel, the connector offers mechanical strength and resistance to corrosion while maintaining a compact profile suitable for panels, audio equipment and wired assemblies. The inclusion of both 6.3mm and 3.5mm mating interfaces allows compatibility with common terminal sizes used in audio and low-voltage electrical systems.

Advantages

This connector combines two common connector diameters in a single component, reducing the need for adapters. The black stainless steel construction provides enhanced durability and corrosion resistance compared with plated brass alternatives, while the male/female configuration ensures straightforward mating and secure retention. Its compact design supports dense wiring layouts and professional-looking installations without sacrificing mechanical performance.

Suitable for

• Audio equipment connections (speakers, amplifiers, mixers)
• Patch panels and rack-mounted assemblies
• Low-voltage wiring in consumer electronics and DIY projects
• Replacement or upgrade of existing 6.3mm / 3.5mm terminal points

Key specifications

• Connector diameters: 6.3 mm and 3.5 mm mating interfaces
• Gender: male and female mating configuration
• Material: stainless steel with black finish
• Intended use: audio, video and general low-voltage electrical connections
• Form factor: compact, panel- and wire-mount compatible

How to use

Identify the correct mating diameter (6.3 mm or 3.5 mm) required for your application and align the male and female parts before applying gentle pressure to engage the connector. Ensure wiring is properly prepared, stripped to the appropriate length and secured according to the equipment’s wiring method, using soldering or screw/clamp connections where applicable. Verify mechanical retention and electrical continuity after assembly and re-check connections before powering the system.

Recommendations

For durable and reliable connections, use appropriately sized mating plugs and avoid excessive force when engaging the connectors. Keep contact surfaces clean and dry to prevent degradation, and inspect periodically in environments with high humidity or salt exposure. When installing in equipment racks or panels, allow adequate clearance for mating and disconnection.
