DisplayPort-kaapeli S/CONN 30-15095 20 m musta

The S/CONN 30-15095 DisplayPort cable is a 20 m black cable with DisplayPort connectors on both ends, designed to transmit high-quality digital video and audio signals over longer distances. With a 4.8 mm diameter, the cable is suitable for installations where a reliable connection between source devices and displays is required, such as desktop PCs, graphics workstations, monitors and projectors. The cable supports a straightforward point-to-point connection using standard DisplayPort interfaces.

Advantages

This 20 m DisplayPort cable provides a consistent digital signal path and reduces the need for adapters when connecting DisplayPort-equipped devices. The symmetrical DisplayPort-to-DisplayPort termination preserves signal integrity across the run, while the slim 4.8 mm diameter helps with cable routing and management in constrained spaces. The black outer jacket offers a neutral appearance for professional and home setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting a computer or laptop to a monitor at a distance up to 20 m
• Linking a graphics workstation to a projector in meeting rooms or classrooms
• Extending a DisplayPort signal in control rooms, studios or digital signage

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20 m
• Connector type: DisplayPort to DisplayPort
• Cable diameter: 4.8 mm
• Colour: Black
• Signal type: Digital video and audio

How to use

Connect one DisplayPort connector to the source device (for example a PC or media player) and the other connector to the display device (monitor or projector). Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting or disconnecting to avoid potential signal issues. After connection, power on the devices and select the DisplayPort input on the display if required. For optimal performance, avoid tight bends and excessive tension along the cable run.

Recommendations

Route the cable away from large power cables or sources of electromagnetic interference. Use gentle bends with a radius larger than the cable diameter and secure the cable with cable ties or clips without compressing the jacket. For permanent installations, verify display resolution and refresh rate settings to ensure the cable meets the required performance over the 20 m length.
