Liitin DisplayPort DVI musta S/CONN SI-77402

The Divers Connector Displayport DVI Black S/CONN SI-77402 is an adapter that converts a DisplayPort output to a DVI input. It features a DisplayPort plug on one side and a DVI socket on the other, with gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and reduce corrosion. The adapter's compact black housing is designed to integrate unobtrusively into desktop and AV setups while providing a straightforward physical interface between source devices and DVI-equipped displays.

Advantages

This connector provides a simple, passive conversion from DisplayPort to DVI without requiring drivers or external power. Gold-plated contacts help maintain stable signal transfer and resist oxidation over time. The compact form factor and neutral black finish make it suitable for use in tight spaces and visually consistent with most monitors and cabling. Its plug-and-play nature allows quick connection and disconnection during equipment changes.

Suitable for

• Connecting a DisplayPort-equipped laptop or desktop to a monitor with a DVI input
• Linking media players or small-form PCs to older DVI projectors or displays
• Temporary connections in meeting rooms, classrooms, or home offices

Key specifications

• Connector types: DisplayPort (plug) to DVI (socket)
• Contact finish: gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Color: black housing
• Signal support: digital video (DVI-D compatible)
• Form factor: compact inline adapter

How to use

Ensure the DisplayPort source and the DVI display are powered off or in standby. Insert the DisplayPort end of the adapter into the source device's DisplayPort output until it seats securely. Connect a DVI cable from the adapter's DVI socket to the display's DVI input. Power on the devices and select the appropriate input on the display. The adapter operates passively; no software installation is required. If the display does not show an image, check cable seating and confirm that the source supports output over DisplayPort to DVI when using a passive adapter.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use high-quality DVI cables and avoid excessive bending near the adapter. For resolutions above single-link DVI limits or for audio needs, consider an active converter or a direct DisplayPort-capable display.
