USB-kaapeli S/CONN 13-38020 USB 3.2 Gen 2 1 m

The S/CONN 13-38020 USB 3.2 Gen 2 cable from ShiverPeaks is a 1 m grey USB A to USB C connection designed for high-speed data transfer and charging. Supporting USB 3.2 Gen 2 (also referred to as 3.1 Gen 2), the cable enables data throughput up to 10 Gbit/s and provides a simple, reversible USB-C interface for modern devices while maintaining compatibility with standard USB-A ports.

Advantages

This USB A to USB C cable offers high transfer speeds up to 10 Gbit/s suitable for large file transfers and fast backups. The 1 m length balances reach and portability for desktop and mobile use. Its grey finish provides a neutral appearance that fits professional and home environments. The cable supports both data transfer and charging functions through a single connection, reducing the number of separate cables required.

Suitable for

• Connecting external hard drives, SSDs or flash drives to a USB-A port with USB-C devices
• Fast data transfer between laptops, desktops and USB-C peripherals
• Charging devices that accept power over USB-C when paired with a compatible USB-A power source
• Use in offices, home workstations and mobile setups where a 1 m cable is convenient

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB A (one end) to USB C (other end)
• USB version: USB 3.2 Gen 2 (3.1 Gen 2) supporting up to 10 Gbit/s data rate
• Cable length: 1 m
• Colour: Grey
• Functionality: Data transfer and charging capable

How to use

Insert the USB A connector into a host device or power source with a standard USB-A port. Insert the USB C connector into the target device such as a smartphone, tablet, external drive or peripheral. For optimal transfer rates, ensure the host and device both support USB 3.2 Gen 2; if either side supports a lower USB standard, transfer speeds will be limited accordingly. Use a compatible power adapter or port for charging; charging speed depends on the power output of the USB-A source and the device's charging capability.

Recommendations

To maintain peak performance, avoid kinks and sharp bends in the cable and keep connectors clean and dry. For consistent 10 Gbit/s transfers, connect devices that both support USB 3.2 Gen 2 and use appropriate host controllers. When charging, confirm the power output of the USB-A source to prevent slow charging.
