USB-kaapeli S/CONN 13-54015 USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 0,5 m USB-C harmaa

The S/CONN 13-54015 USB cable by ShiverPeaks is a 0.5 m USB C to USB C data cable that supports the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 specification, enabling data transfer rates up to 20 Gbit/s. The cable features gold-plated contacts for improved contact reliability and corrosion resistance, and comes in a neutral grey finish suited for desktop and portable setups. It is designed for high-speed data transfer between compatible devices using USB C ports.

Advantages

This USB cable supports USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 for up to 20 Gbit/s throughput, allowing fast file transfers and responsive connections. Gold-plated contacts enhance durability and reduce signal degradation at the connector interface. The short 0.5 m length minimises clutter and signal loss in close-proximity setups while the USB C to USB C configuration provides a reversible, modern connector on both ends.

Suitable for

• Connecting external SSDs and high-speed storage to laptops or desktops
• Linking modern smartphones, tablets and computers that use USB C ports
• Transferring large files, backups and media between devices
• Short-distance connections where a compact, low-profile cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB C to USB C
• USB specification: USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (up to 20 Gbit/s)
• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Contact finish: Gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Insert each USB C connector into the corresponding USB C port on your devices. Ensure both devices support the desired USB specification to achieve maximum transfer speeds. The reversible USB C plugs eliminate the need to orient the connector before insertion. For consistent performance, avoid sharp bends near the connector ends and connect directly to device ports rather than through uncertified hubs or adapters.

Recommendations

To maintain peak performance, use this cable for short, high-speed connections such as external SSDs or device-to-device file transfers. Store the cable coiled without tight knots and avoid excessive pulling on the connectors. If maximum throughput is required, confirm both connected devices advertise USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 capability.
