Verkkokaapeli S/CONN 08-22026 valkoinen 1 m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-22026 White 1m Cat6 U/UTP is a 1-metre Ethernet patch cable designed for gigabit networking. It uses Category 6 specification wiring with U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair cable with an overall unshielded configuration) construction and RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts to maintain stable connections and reduce contact corrosion. The white jacket and compact 1 m length make it suitable for short runs between devices in home offices, data cabinets and desktop setups where reliable 1000 Mbit/s performance is required.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable provides consistent signal integrity for gigabit Ethernet over short distances while keeping a slim, flexible profile for easy routing and cable management. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure low contact resistance and improved long-term reliability. The cable's construction adheres to Cat6 electrical characteristics to support higher bandwidths and reduced crosstalk compared with lower category cables. Its neutral white color integrates unobtrusively into most environments.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting a PC, laptop or gaming console to a router or switch for wired gigabit Internet
• Linking networked printers, NAS devices or media players to a local network
• Patch connections within a small office, server rack or wall outlet to a nearby switch
• Temporary or permanent short-distance connections where a 1 m cable length is sufficient

Key specifications

• Length: 1 metre
• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s (gigabit Ethernet)
• Jacket color: white
• Typical use: patch cable for short-distance network connections

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices until the connector latch clicks into place. For optimal performance keep the cable untwisted and avoid sharp bends at the connector ends. Use the 1 m cable for short runs between nearby devices or patch panels; if you require longer distance runs choose a longer Cat6 cable. When disconnecting, press the latch tab and gently pull the connector straight out to avoid damaging the plug or port.

Recommendations

For consistent gigabit performance, avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and keep it away from sources of electromagnetic interference. Inspect connectors periodically for dirt or damage and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs show visible wear.
