How to use

Install the module into the appropriate Siemens-compatible rack or mounting rail according to the control system layout, ensuring correct orientation and secure mechanical attachment. Connect analog input and output wiring following the system wiring diagrams and observe grounding and shielding practices to minimise electrical interference. Configure the module in the automation engineering software to map channels, set signal ranges and calibrate measurements as required by the application. Verify communication and signal integrity before putting the system into normal operation.

Recommendations

Use recommended wiring practices, including proper shielding and earthing, and follow Siemens installation guidelines for rack spacing and ventilation. Regularly inspect connections and calibration to maintain measurement accuracy in power system applications.
