Silikonitiiviste FISCHER 512209 — 310 ml, harmaa, keramiikalle, lasille, metallille, PVC:lle, muoville, puulle

FISCHER 512209 is a high-quality sanitary silicone sealant in sanitary grey, supplied in a 310 ml cartridge for standard caulking guns. It is designed for corner, movement and connection joints in sanitary and kitchen areas and bonds to ceramic, glass, metal, PVC, plastic and wood. The permanently elastic formulation with 25% permissible total deformation provides flexible, waterproof joints that resist abrasion and maintain long-term performance.

Advantages

The formulation enables easy application and smoothing, allowing efficient and precise work. With an outstanding movement capacity of 25% total deformation, the sealant is suited for high-stress expansion joints and ensures long-lasting jointing. Very good adhesion on smooth surfaces helps prevent moisture ingress into the substrate and supports reliable functioning. High wear resistance combined with built-in fungicide provides surface protection during cleaning and contributes to durable, mold-resistant joints.

Suitable for

• Sealing corner and connection joints in bathrooms and kitchens
• Sealing joints around ceramic tiles, sinks and bathtubs
• Bonding and sealing glass, metal, PVC, plastic and wood fixtures
• Expansion joints that require up to 25% movement accommodation

Key specifications

• Volume: 310 ml cartridge
• Colour: Sanitary grey
• Permanently elastic
• Permissible total deformation: 25%
• Contains fungicide for mold protection
• Suitable substrates: ceramic, glass, metal, PVC, plastic, wood

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease and old sealant. Cut the cartridge nozzle to the desired bead size and use a standard caulking gun to apply the sealant evenly into the joint. Smooth the joint within the skinning time using a suitable tool or finger dipped in soapy water for a neat finish. Allow the sealant to cure undisturbed according to ambient conditions and film forming time before exposing to water or mechanical stress.

Recommendations

For best results, use at temperatures recommended by the manufacturer, avoid applying to wet or frozen substrates, and allow full curing before regular cleaning. Test adhesion on unfamiliar plastics before full application.
