Sisäinen 3,5 tuuman kiintolevy Toshiba MG11SCA24TE 24 TB 7200 kierr./min 1024 MB SAS

The Toshiba MG11SCA24TE is a 3.5" internal SAS hard drive offering 24 TB capacity, 7200 RPM spindle speed and a 1024 MB buffer. Built on Toshiba's FC‑MAMR technology and a 10-disk helium-sealed design, this enterprise-class HDD is intended for continuous 24/7 operation in servers and storage systems and provides an MTBF of 2.5 million hours. The drive supports both data-at-rest protection options and is available in multiple capacities across SAS and SATA interfaces to suit large-scale storage deployments.

Advantages

The MG11 Series delivers high storage density with up to 2.4 TB per platter using Toshiba's second‑generation Flux Control Microwave‑assisted Magnetic Recording (FC‑MAMR). Its helium‑sealed 10‑disk construction enables larger capacities in a standard 3.5" form factor while maintaining good power efficiency (lower W/TB) for reduced total cost of ownership. The drive is rated for a 550 TB/year workload and is available with Sanitize Instant Erase (SIE) or Self‑Encrypting Drive (SED) options for data security.

Suitable for

• Enterprise storage arrays and cloud-scale infrastructure
• Servers and workstations requiring high-capacity bulk storage
• Backup, archival and virtualization workloads

How to use

Install the MG11SCA24TE into a compatible 3.5" drive bay in a server or storage enclosure that supports 12 Gbit/s SAS. Follow your system vendor’s instructions for mounting, cabling and configuring the drive in RAID or JBOD as required. Initialize and format the drive using the operating system or storage controller tools, and apply any recommended firmware updates from the vendor. If using SED or SIE models, follow the provided procedures to enable encryption or execute secure erase operations.

Recommendations

Use this drive in environments with appropriate cooling and power provisioning for 24/7 enterprise operation. For best results in high‑density deployments, verify compatibility with the storage controller and check firmware support for FC‑MAMR features and SED/SIE management.
