Etsinputki Skywatcher 6x30 suoralla pidikkeellä, musta – 6×30 optinen etsin kaukoputkiin

The Skywatcher 6x30 finder scope with straight mount is a compact optical finder designed to assist in aiming telescopes. It offers 6× magnification and a 30 mm objective lens, delivering a wider field of view than higher-power eyepieces to simplify locating celestial targets. The straight mounting bracket secures the scope to the telescope tube and provides a stable, direct line of sight for quick target acquisition and guiding during observing sessions.

Advantages

The 6×30 configuration balances magnification and light-gathering ability to make star hopping and visual target identification easier without narrowing the field. The straight mount enhances mechanical stability and keeps the finder aligned with the main optical axis, reducing the need for frequent recalibration. The black finish minimizes stray reflections and helps the finder blend with standard telescope aesthetics. Overall, the design focuses on straightforward operation, robust attachment and clear optical framing for a variety of observing conditions.

How to use

Attach the finder scope to the telescope tube using the straight mount and tighten the mounting screws to ensure a secure fit. Align the finder with the main telescope optics during daytime on a distant terrestrial object or at night on a bright star by adjusting the alignment screws until the object is centered in both the finder and the main eyepiece. Use the 6×30 finder to locate targets roughly, then switch to the telescope’s eyepiece for precise centering and higher magnification observation.

Recommendations

When aligning, choose a bright distant object and perform coarse alignment first; fine-tune alignment at observing height. Periodically check mounting tightness and re-align after transport to maintain accuracy. Avoid touching the objective lens; clean optics only with appropriate lens-cleaning tools if necessary.
