Teleskooppipidikkeet Skywatcher SW-4410 360 mm ja 305 mm Newton-putkille

Skywatcher SW-4410 telescope clamps are engineered to secure Newtonian optical tubes with diameters of 360 mm and 305 mm to a mount or dovetail. They provide a stable mechanical connection between the tube and the mount, allowing for accurate pointing and safe support during observational or imaging sessions. The design includes features that simplify attachment and release while protecting the tube surface from scratches or pressure marks.

Advantages

The clamps offer reliable holding strength and straightforward tightening and release mechanisms for quick installation and removal. Padded contact surfaces reduce the risk of damage to the optical tube finish and distribute clamping force evenly. Their construction ensures consistent tube alignment and stable support for tracking, guiding and astrophotography tasks.

Suitable for

• Attaching 360 mm and 305 mm Newtonian optical tubes to equatorial and alt-azimuth mounts
• Temporary or semi-permanent mounting during observational sessions
• Astrophotography setups requiring stable tube alignment and minimal flex
• Transport or storage arrangements where quick release is needed

Key specifications

• Compatible tube diameters: 360 mm and 305 mm
• Material: durable metal alloy construction for structural strength
• Protective padding at contact points to prevent surface damage
• Fastening mechanism: manual tightening and release for tool-free operation
• Designed for use with standard dovetail bars and mounting saddles

How to use

Place the clamp around the Newtonian tube at the designed mounting location and align the clamp base with the mount saddle or dovetail bar. Tighten the manual fasteners evenly until the tube is held securely but without over-tightening; padding will protect the tube surface while ensuring a firm grip. To remove, loosen the fasteners and lift the tube free. Confirm that the tube balance and alignment are correct after installation before beginning tracking or imaging.

Recommendations

Inspect the padded contact surfaces regularly and clean debris or grit to avoid scratching the tube. When transporting the telescope, use the clamps in combination with secondary supports or straps if prolonged motion or vibration is expected. Check clamp tightness periodically during long imaging runs to maintain alignment.
