Akvarellilehtiö SMLT A4 200 g/m² liimattu, arkin koko A4, 200 g/m² akvarellipaperi

SMLT Watercolor notebook A4 200 g/m² is a gummed pad of A4-size watercolor paper designed for watercolor, ink and light mixed-media work. The pad contains medium-weight 200 gsm sheets with a textured surface suitable for washes, layering and sketching. Sheets are bound along one edge with a gummed adhesive that keeps pages secure during use and allows clean removal when needed, making the notebook convenient for portable practice, studies and finished sketches.

Advantages

The medium-weight 200 g/m² paper balances absorbency and surface strength, reducing buckling under moderate water and allowing multiple transparent layers. A4 sheet size offers a standard working area that is easy to scan, frame or store. Gummed binding secures sheets while enabling neat detachment without tearing, and the textured surface supports pigment retention and blending for watercolor techniques. The pad’s construction is compact and lightweight for carrying to classes or plein air sessions.

Suitable for

• Watercolor washes and studies
• Light mixed-media techniques (watercolor with ink, pencil, or light gouache)
• Art classes, student practice and sketching on the go
• Preliminary studies and finished small-format artwork

Key specifications

• Sheet size: A4 (210 × 297 mm)
• Paper weight: 200 g/m² (medium-weight watercolor paper)
• Surface: textured, suitable for watercolor absorption and layering
• Binding: gummed adhesive along one edge for secure holding and clean removal
• Format: pad of individual sheets (single-sided use recommended for heavier washes)

How to use

Work on a flat, stable surface and secure the pad to prevent movement. For heavier washes, consider taping edges to a rigid board to reduce buckling. Apply water and pigments gradually: begin with light washes and build layers after earlier layers dry. Remove a sheet by gently moistening the gummed edge if necessary, then peel the sheet away slowly to avoid ripping. Store unused sheets flat and dry to maintain surface integrity.

Recommendations

Use the SMLT Watercolor notebook for practice, studies and small finished compositions. For heavy wet techniques or extensive lifting, choose a heavier paper; for best results with 200 g/m², work with controlled water amounts, allow sufficient drying time between layers, and use archival mounting or framing for final pieces.
