Piirustuslehtiö SMLT A3 20 arkkia 120 g/m² – luonnos- ja piirustuspaperi

SMLT A3 drawing pad contains 20 sheets of 120 g/m² paper designed for sketching and drawing with dry media and light mixed techniques. The medium-weight surface gives stable support for pencils, charcoal, pastel and ink washes while remaining portable for studies, on-site sketches and portfolio work. Sheets are bound in a pad format that keeps pages flat and protected during transport and storage.

Advantages

The paper weight of 120 g/m² strikes a balance between stiffness and flexibility, reducing buckling from erasing and light wet applications while allowing easy handling. The surface texture is suitable for fine pencil detail as well as softer charcoal and pastel strokes, providing consistent tooth across the sheet. The A3 size offers a large working area for compositions, figure studies and layouts without requiring a drawing board. Twenty sheets provide multiple practice opportunities and spare pages for iterative workflows.

Suitable for

• Graphite pencil sketches and technical drawing
• Charcoal studies and pastel work
• Ink washes and light mixed-media techniques
• Art classes, student practice and portfolio pages
• On-site sketches and preliminary concept drawings

Key specifications

• Format: A3 (297 × 420 mm)
• Sheet count: 20 sheets
• Paper weight: 120 g/m²
• Surface: medium tooth, suitable for dry media and light wet techniques
• Binding: pad-bound for flat storage and easy page removal

How to use

Place the pad on a stable surface or drawing board when working to maintain even pressure and avoid unwanted creasing. Use pencils from H to B grades for varied line quality; apply charcoal and pastel with controlled layering to build tone. For ink washes or diluted media, test on a corner sheet to check absorption and drying behavior. When removing sheets, detach along the pad edge carefully to preserve margins and avoid tearing; for display or framing, trim or mount as needed.

Recommendations

Store the pad flat in a dry environment to prevent warping. Use fixative sprays for charcoal or pastel work intended for handling or display, and avoid heavy washes that may exceed the paper's weight capacity.
