SSD-kotelo DeLOCK ulkoinen USB-Type-C-combo-kotelo 42633

This Delock SSD enclosure (model 42633) supports a single M.2 storage drive in sizes 2280, 2260, 2242 and 2230 and accepts both NVMe (PCIe) and SATA M.2 SSDs. It connects to a PC or laptop via USB Type-C (USB 3.2 Gen 2) and features a robust aluminium housing in black that helps maintain optimal drive temperature.

Advantages

The combo design allows automatic recognition of either NVMe (PCIe) or SATA M.2 SSDs without the need for separate enclosures. With USB 3.2 Gen 2 (up to 10 Gbit/s) connectivity, it enables fast data transfer. The aluminium housing improves heat dissipation and the tool-free lid with a rubber mounting nipple enables quick and simple SSD installation.

Suitable for

• Expanding external storage with a single M.2 NVMe or SATA SSD
• Quick data backup and file transfer between computers
• Testing or cloning M.2 SSDs in sizes 2280 / 2260 / 2242 / 2230
• Portable access to an M.2 drive via USB Type-C

How to use

Open the enclosure lid by pushing it slightly backwards, place the M.2 SSD onto the PCB and secure it using the rubber nipple provided. Slide the lid back until it locks. Connect the enclosure to a computer or laptop using a USB Type-C cable; the drive will be detected automatically by the host chipset and is then ready for use.

Recommendations

For optimal performance and thermal management, use a USB 3.2 Gen 2 compatible port and avoid prolonged operation in confined or poorly ventilated spaces. Handle the M.2 SSD by its edges and ensure the drive is firmly seated on the rubber mount before closing the lid.
