uvex pheos cx2 safety glasses combine a duo-spherical polycarbonate lens with a soft, lens-mounted component to provide reliable protection against impact, dust and water. The integrated X-tended Eyeshield and soft forehead and nose pieces are designed to fit the wearer’s face for a secure, comfortable seal, while the CBR65 lens tinting increases contrast, reduces blue light and allows 65% light transmission. The frame comes in black and white and the product is certified to EN 166, EN 172 and AS/NZS 1337.1; labelling includes W 166 FT CE – 5-1.4 W 1 FTKN CE.

Advantages

The uvex pheos cx2 offers UV400 protection and a large field of vision with a duo-spherical polycarbonate lens that is highly impact-resistant. Inner anti-fog coating and an extremely scratch- and chemical-resistant outer coating (uvex supravision excellence) maintain clear vision and durability. X-Twist side-arm technology and the duo-component frame ensure a secure, non-slip fit and comfortable long-term wear. The soft moulded forehead and nose section provides additional protection against dust and water and allows easy integration with other PPE.

Suitable for

• General industrial and construction work where eye impact and UV protection are required
• Outdoor tasks with variable light where reduced blue light and improved contrast are beneficial
• Work environments requiring anti-fog and scratch-resistant eye protection

How to use

Place the glasses on the face so that the X-tended Eyeshield and soft forehead and nose pieces sit comfortably against the skin, forming a seal to limit dust and water ingress. Adjust the side arms for a secure, non-slip fit using the flexible X-Twist mechanism. Use the glasses during tasks requiring eye protection from impact, UV exposure, dust or chemical splashes. Clean the lens with a soft cloth and a mild cleaner compatible with coated polycarbonate to preserve the anti-fog and scratch-resistant properties.

Recommendations

Inspect the glasses before each use for scratches or damage that could reduce protection. Replace the eyewear if the lens or frame is cracked, deeply scratched or if coatings are compromised. Store in a protective case when not in use to maintain the uvex supravision excellence coatings and overall performance.
