Taidepaperilehtiö Pelikan 236782

The Pelikan 236782 Art paper pad contains 20 sheets of high-quality art paper designed for a range of artistic techniques. The paper has a reliably smooth surface with a slight tooth that accepts dry and light wet media, helping preserve color intensity and detail. The pad format keeps sheets together and protected, making it convenient for classroom use, sketching on the go, or studio practice.

Advantages

This art pad provides consistent sheet quality across 20 pages, offering good weight and surface strength to resist warping under light washes. The paper supports pencils, charcoal, pastels, markers, ink and tempera paints, and it holds erasing and reworking without excessive surface damage. The pad binding keeps pages secure while allowing individual sheets to be removed cleanly for display or framing.

Suitable for

• School art classes and student projects
• Sketching and pencil studies
• Charcoal and pastel drawings
• Light watercolor washes and tempera painting
• Ink drawings and mixed-media exercises

Key specifications

• Paper quantity: 20 sheets
• Paper surface: slightly textured (tooth) suitable for dry and light wet media
• Format: pad with removable sheets
• Sheet weight: medium-weight art paper suitable for classroom and hobby use
• Color: natural white

How to use

Choose appropriate drawing or painting tools according to the media you plan to use. For dry media such as graphite, charcoal and pastel, work directly on the surface and fix with a light spray fixative if needed. For light washes or tempera, test a small area first to confirm the paper’s response; apply thin washes and allow to dry between layers to minimise cockling. Remove a sheet from the pad by gently detaching along the pad edge when you are ready to present or frame your work.

Recommendations

Store the pad flat in a dry environment away from direct sunlight. When using wet media, avoid heavy saturation; use the paper for light washes and mixed-media techniques rather than heavy watercolor applications. For archival results, mount completed works onto a backing board before long-term storage or display.
