Tecline 5 m Cat.6A verkkokaapeli sininen Cat6a S/FTP RJ-45

The Tecline 5m Cat.6A networking cable Blue Cat6a S/FTP RJ-45 is a 5 metre, shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. It uses Cat6A specification with S/FTP (shielded foil twisted pair with overall braid) construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends to provide improved signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference. The blue outer jacket identifies cable runs and helps maintain an organized network layout while offering the flexibility to place devices at moderate distances from switches or routers.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable connections at higher frequencies and enabling reliable performance for demanding applications. Cat6A performance characteristics allow support for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over appropriate infrastructure, and the RJ-45 terminations provide broad compatibility with standard network equipment. The 5 m length balances reach and signal quality while the durable outer jacket protects the internal pairs during typical installation and routing.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, NAS, and network printers to switches or routers
• Wiring home offices and small business networks requiring higher bandwidth
• Short to medium cable runs in structured cabling where shielding is beneficial

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (individually shielded pairs with overall braid)
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 5 m
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Ensure both network devices are powered off or in a safe state before connecting. Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the Ethernet port of the devices you intend to link — for example, a computer and a switch, or a router and a NAS. Verify that the connectors click into place to secure the physical connection. After connecting, power on devices and check link/activity LEDs or system network settings to confirm the connection is recognized. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure with cable management accessories if necessary.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines or near strong electromagnetic sources. Maintain bend radius guidelines and avoid excessive tension. Use the shielded cable in environments with potential interference or where improved noise immunity is required. Test the link speed and continuity after installation to confirm expected performance.
