Tihkuletku Gardena 1968-20 7,5 m

The GARDENA Soaker Hose 7.5m (1968-20) is a ready-to-connect porous hose designed for water-saving irrigation of plant rows, flower beds and vegetable gardens. Water seeps slowly along the hose length to deliver moisture directly to the root zone, allowing efficient deep watering while using low pressure. The hose is made from flexible, durable material, has an integrated valve for adjusting flow and pressure, and can be shortened or connected to other sections up to a maximum total length of 30 m. It is also available to order by the metre.

Advantages

The Soaker Hose provides targeted, low-pressure irrigation with a maximum area coverage of 7.5 m² and includes a 7.5 m hose length in the standard set. Its porous design ensures even water distribution along planted rows and reduces surface evaporation compared with overhead watering. The integrated valve enables simple regulation of flow and pressure for different plant requirements.

Suitable for

• Irrigating flower beds
• Watering vegetable rows
• Targeted root-zone irrigation for shrubs and young plants
• Low-pressure watering systems and garden sections up to 7.5 m²

Key specifications

• Brand: GARDENA
• Model / MPN: 1968-20
• EAN: 4078500196802
• Length (standard): 7.5 m
• Maximum extendable length: up to 30 m (via connectors)
• Maximum area coverage: 7.5 m²
• Connection: ready-to-connect with flow/pressure adjustment valve

How to use

Unroll the soaker hose along the plant row and position it close to the root zone. Connect the hose to a water supply and set the integrated valve to achieve the desired seepage rate. For longer runs, join additional sections using compatible connectors and ensure the total length does not exceed 30 m. If needed, cut the hose to the required length and seal the cut end or fit an end cap to prevent leaks.

Recommendations

Install the hose on even soil and cover lightly with mulch to reduce evaporation and protect the hose. Use low to medium water pressure for consistent seepage; avoid high pressure that can damage the porous structure. Check the hose periodically for blockages and flush or replace sections if flow becomes uneven.
