USB 3.1 - Gigabit Ethernet -muunnin ROLINE 12.02.1109

The ROLINE USB 3.1 to Gigabit Ethernet Converter ROLINE 12.02.1109 converts a USB 3.1/USB 3.0 Type‑C port into a 10/100/1000Base‑T RJ‑45 Ethernet port. It is a compact, bus‑powered adapter with one USB Type‑C male connector and one RJ‑45 female port, designed to add wired network connectivity to devices that lack a built‑in Ethernet jack. Compatible with Windows XP, 7, 8 and Mac OS X, the adapter measures 26 mm × 60 mm × 16 mm and weighs 0.025 kg.

Advantages

The converter supports auto‑sensing for 10/100/1000 Mbit/s speeds and both full‑duplex and half‑duplex operation in Gigabit Ethernet. It uses the USB 3.0 protocol over a Type‑C connector and is bus powered, which eliminates the need for an external power supply. Its compact white housing and simple single‑port design make it easy to carry and install.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or tablets with USB Type‑C to wired LANs
• Adding Ethernet to ultrabooks or compact PCs without RJ‑45 ports
• Temporary network access for devices in meetings, hotels or offices

Recommendations

For best performance use a Cat5e or higher Ethernet cable and connect to a Gigabit‑capable switch or router. Avoid excessive bending of the adapter and keep it in a well‑ventilated area during prolonged use.
