USB-kaapeli DeLOCK 85382 USB 3.2 Gen 1 20 m USB A USB B musta

The DeLOCK 85382 active USB cable extends USB connections up to 20 metres and connects a PC or laptop with a USB Type-A port to devices with a USB Type-B female port. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also referred to as USB 3.1 Gen 1) with a maximum theoretical data transfer rate of 5 Gbit/s. The cable includes integrated signal amplifiers and a DC socket for the supplied external power unit to ensure reliable data and power transmission over long distances.

Advantages

This active USB A to USB B cable provides stable high-speed data transfer at USB 3.2 Gen 1 rates up to 5 Gbit/s over a 20 m length. Integrated signal amplifiers compensate for signal loss on long runs, and the external power supply (to be connected to the amplifier DC socket) secures sufficient power delivery to connected devices. The black jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for professional and home environments.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting printers, scanners or audio interfaces with USB Type-B ports to a PC or laptop
• Long-distance USB connections in offices, studios or classrooms
• Situations that require stable USB 3.2 Gen 1 data rates over extended cable runs

How to use

Connect the USB Type-A plug to the PC or laptop and the USB Type-B plug to the target device. Plug the supplied external power unit into mains and connect its DC plug to the DC socket located on one of the integrated signal amplifiers. Ensure both ends are securely inserted before transferring data. If the connected device requires external power, the power unit must be connected to guarantee reliable operation.

Recommendations

Use the supplied power supply for all installations longer than a few metres; do not rely on host power only. Avoid sharp bends and heavy mechanical stress on the cable and keep the amplifier modules accessible for the power connection and inspection.
