USB-keskitin IOGEAR HUB-C USB 3.2 Gen 2

The IOGEAR HUB-C USB 3.2 Gen 2 is a compact USB-C to 4‑port USB‑A hub designed to expand a laptop or desktop USB‑C port into multiple Type‑A connections. It supports high‑speed SuperSpeed data transfer up to 5000 Mbit/s (USB 3.2 Gen 1/3.1 Gen 1) and is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems. The hub’s silver finish and small footprint (81 mm x 39.7 mm x 14.2 mm) make it easy to carry in a laptop bag while adding four readily accessible USB‑A ports for drives, cameras, smartphones and other peripherals.

Advantages

The hub provides plug‑and‑play operation without additional drivers and offers backward compatibility with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. Its USB‑powered design requires no external power supply and includes integrated protection against overcurrent to help safeguard connected devices. The lightweight construction (0.04 kg) and slim Type‑C connector enable convenient use with modern ultra‑thin laptops and tablets.

Suitable for

• Connecting external hard drives, flash drives and card readers
• Attaching peripherals such as keyboards, mice and webcams
• Syncing and charging smartphones or tablets via USB‑A cables
• Expanding ports on MacBook, Chromebook and other USB‑C devices

How to use

Plug the hub’s USB‑C connector into an available USB‑C port on your computer or compatible device. Connect up to four USB‑A peripherals to the hub’s Type‑A ports. Devices are hot swappable — you can connect or disconnect peripherals without powering off the host. The hub is plug‑and‑play on supported operating systems; no driver installation is typically required. For optimal transfer speeds, connect SuperSpeed‑capable devices and cables to the hub’s USB 3.x ports.

Recommendations

To ensure consistent high‑speed transfers, use USB 3.0/3.1/3.2 certified cables and connect SuperSpeed devices directly. Avoid connecting multiple high‑power devices simultaneously if the host USB‑C port provides limited bus power; for powering several power‑hungry peripherals, consider a powered hub solution. Keep the hub and cables free from excessive bending near the connector to prolong service life.
