USB-keskitin ROLINE 4 porttia toistimella 12 m

The ROLINE USB Hub 4 Ports with Repeater (12.04.1085) is a compact white USB 2.0 hub that provides four downstream USB Type-A ports and includes an active repeater cable offering a 12 m connection to the host. The hub's design allows it to clip to the matching USB 2.0 Active Repeater Cable (MPN 12.04.1086) between USB A Male and Female ends, enabling chained extensions for longer reach.

Advantages

This hub supports full USB 2.0 and 1.1 specifications and operates as a plug-and-play device without the need for additional drivers. Its integrated repeater cable extends the distance between a computer and connected USB devices up to 12 m, and the hub can be chained with up to five hub-and-repeater segments to achieve a maximum total length of 60 m. The compact housing and four Type-A female ports make it suitable for multiple peripheral connections in limited spaces.

Suitable for

• Extending the connection of USB peripherals (keyboards, mice, printers) over long distances
• Workspaces where a central USB hub must be placed away from the host computer
• Temporary setups or events requiring multiple USB ports and extended cable reach

How to use

Connect the hub's USB Type-A male connector to the computer's USB port. Plug USB devices into the four Type-A female ports on the hub. If additional reach is required, clip the hub to the dedicated USB 2.0 Active Repeater Cable (MPN 12.04.1086) between the USB A male and female ends to extend the effective distance. Up to five hubs with repeater cables can be chained to reach a maximum distance of 60 m.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use recommended USB 2.0 Active Repeater Cables (MPN 12.04.1086) when extending the connection. Avoid exceeding the maximum chain length of five hub-and-repeater segments, and ensure connected devices draw power within USB 2.0 specifications or use externally powered devices where necessary.
